What is the minimum ceiling height required?

We recommend 96”; the pod height is 91”.

What is the minimum floor area required?

The Single Pod footprint is 3’ 3” x 3’ 9”; we recommend placing it in an area 6’ x 3’ 9”.

The Double pod footprint is 3’ 3” x 7’ 5”, we recommend placing it in an area 6’ x 7’ 5”.

What is the lead time for order delivery?

For the standard Single Pod, 3 week delivery; for the Double Pod or orders of more than 20 pods, 6 to 8 weeks from the date ordered.

How much does each component weigh?

The heaviest component weighs 125 lbs.

What type of power is needed?

110v A/C power; each pod comes with its own external cord that may be plugged into a standard wall, ceiling or floor outlet.

How seismically strong are the pods?

FACET’s pods may be fixed to the floor with brackets that are provided with each unit.

How are the pods delivered or shipped?

Each pod is shipped in wooden crates measuring 36” wide x 24” high x 96” long.  Each crate weighs about 450 pounds. Our crates are designed to be moved with a standard pallet jack or forklift.

How long does it take to assemble a pod?

Pods take three people about 60 minutes to assemble. Professional furniture system installers are required.

How is the interior temperature of the pod controlled?

Each pod has a temperature-controlled 80 CFM super quiet variable volume fan; a bio sensor turns it on when a user enters and turns it off 10 minutes after the user exits.

Can you tell me about fire safety?

The fire safety of all FACET’s surface materials is tested and classified by National standards: Class A rating per NFPA 101-wall and ceiling classification. Flame spread index: 10 (scale of 0 to 25), Smoke developed 5 (scale of 0 to 450).

What’s the air quality like?

The indoor air quality of our products is tested by an accredited testing agency and is within the limits of M1 emission classification.
